Whatcom County may lend $1 million toward 64 affordable apartments in Bellingham

The borrower is the Housing Authority of the City of Bellingham, for its Unity Street project.

The money would come from a County fund for economic development investments, the agenda says.

The loan is on a County Council committee's consent list for final action Nov. 10.

The agenda does not give the loan's terms, the project's total cost or an opening date.
